Al-Huda School Awarded Reaccreditation

On April 23rd, 2015 Al-Huda School in College Park, Maryland received the oral report from Mr George Vosburgh, head of the Middle States Association visiting team, recommending reaccreditation of the K-12 school, the largest project of the Dar-us-Salaam Community.
The report was delivered after a 4-day visit by a Middle States Association accreditation team who reviewed the school's curriculum, standards, and policies in addition to interviewing students, staff, board members, and parents.


On Nov 12, 2015, Al-Huda School received the official Middle States Association decision to grant reaccreditation to the Al-Huda School, a decision that is valid for 7 years. 
The Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges reviews educational institutions to determine if they are meeting their own measures of growth and succcess. Prominent area institutions that have been accredited by the Middle States Association include the University of Maryland at College Park, Georgetown University, Howard University, and Georgetown Preparatory School.
