Community News
On Saturday, December 1, 2012 the All Dulles Area Muslims (ADAMS) center arranged a fundraiser at the St. Joseph's parish hall, in which people of all walks of life participated. Organizers estimate 500 people attended. The fundraiser was wholly arranged by the youth wing of ADAMS center. It was a very well organized event. Almost $160,000 was raised. An interesting aspect of this fundraiser was that many who donated funds were from other religions.

The program started with recitation of Holy Quran and introduction  by Br Ibrahim Moiz (top left). This was followed with an address by the president of ADAMS center, Mr Farooq Syed (top right). Br. Awais Sheikh presented the strategic vision (bottom left) and Imam Magid focused on the plans of expansion for the ADAMS center over the next 5 years (bottom right). He also gave a brief history of ADAMS and how it's taking care of the community. Imam Magid also laid out the objectives of the center where he emphasized that ADAMS is not only a Masjid but a center of activities for all.

Entertainment for the evening was provided by Omar Regan (left) from Los Angeles, and the YouTube funny guy and now brand name “Baba Ali”.
