Visiting the sick and mourners is a great act of worship. To organize and facilitate this , Muslim Community Center has started a new effort run by the seniors. The Muslim Community Senior Program announced the successful training and graduation of the first cadre of MCC Senior Program Ambassadors. The training which was sponsored by the MCC Clinic under the leadership of Dr. Azad Ejaz, was conducted by the Washington Adventist Hospital, and the MCC Imam Mohamed Sh. Mohamed. "Working in collaboration with the MCC Clinic and our MCC Imam Mohamed Sh Mohamed, our ambassadors will be actively engaged in reaching out to the sick and bereaved, in hospitals, and throughout our community," said Mona Negm in an email. |
