CAIRMDBanquet

With representatives from most of Maryland's counties present, it was clear at the April 28, 2013 inaugural banquet for the newly relaunched Maryland chapeter CAIR that advocacy work for Muslims is greatly needed in the Old Line state. Introducing the CAIR MD board, President Mudusar Raza sounded the alarm on civil rights. "A written law means nothing unless it is enforced, and we are losing the battle, more and more rights are being lost [and] we have to draw the line," he said. CAIR MD said the event was a success. Imam Johari Abdul-Malik conducted the fundraising.
