2014 Al-Huda High School AP Scholars Announced

Al-Huda High School in College Park, Maryland is a college preparatory school that requires all students to complete Advanced Placement courses. Al-Huda High School offers four AP courses in all of the core subjects including AP Calculus, Biology, English, and Government. These are college level courses, and students receiving a score of 3 or higher on the AP Exam can get college credit towards their undergraduate degrees. Many of our students also appear for other AP exams, such as AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, and AP Economics.

The following Al-Huda High School graduates from the class of 2014 were designated “AP Scholars” by the non- profit College Board which runs the national AP program:

Sabreen Rashid: AP Scholar with Distinction (Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.50 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams)

Muhammad Talha Salis: AP Scholar with Honor Award (Granted to students

who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams)

Adib Ahmed: AP Scholar Award (Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams)

Yahya Sidky: AP Scholar Award (Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams)

Areeje Jendi: AP Scholar Award (Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams)

Najma Salhan: AP Scholar Award (Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams)

Nadeem Saleh: AP Scholar Award (Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams)
