Baltimore County Muslim Council (BCMC) was formed 11 years ago as an advocacy group for Muslim residents of Baltimore County - irrespective of their national origin, race or political affiliation.
After a reorganizing breakfast at Islamic Society of Baltimore in late November, the BCMC Organizing Committee has announced December 28, 2014 as the final date for obtaining BCMC Membership. Submission for nominations for the BCMC Board of Directors and Executive Committee are due on January 11, 2015 by 8 p.m. Elections are scheduled for January 25.
The Membership Sub-Committee includes Nasrin Rahman, Saleem Ahmed, Monica Lee and the Election Sub-Committee comprises of Farooq Marfani, Tufail Chaudhry, and Mohsin Majid.
