The retreat's second year featured lectures on the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'alyhi wa sallam's relationships with his wives, communicating with your heart, and presentations from experienced marriage and family therapists.
The scenic resort venue provided ample opportunities for couples to spend time together walking, playing golf, or eating by the water.
This year the retreat opened up spots for families.
One session featured a couples game to test how well spouses know each other's habits and ways of thinking. After plenty of angst and laughter, prizes were awarded to the top three courageous couples who took the challenge.
