Torrential rains flooded Dar us Salaam and destroyed several classrooms and musallah during the summer of 2017. The roof was going through a major renovation, so the water did not stop accumulating, causing extensive damage.

After a few hiccups, the renovation is complete and the newly designed musallah is open for use.

The Women's Committee of Masjid As Saffat in Baltimore will host their 35th Annual Women’s Conference on March 30 - April 1, 2018, at the Delta Hotels in Baltimore Hunt Valley, Maryland.  

"I have been attending these conference for over 25 years, Allahu Akbar," stated Bashirah Murphy. "I love my sisters and the great work that this sister organization does for their community." "You not only have a great time, learning, praying and sharing with your sisters from all over, but you are giving Sadaqah Jaria because the students you help is continuous. May Allah reward these sisters and the organization for their years of diliegence," she said.

This year’s theme is "ESTABLISHING THE DEEN - GETTING TO THE PERFECT HAPPY PLACE".  

To register or make a donation, go to www.wcmas.org. Registration is also open for the Junior Conference for girls 12-19 (running concurrently).

The theme is for Juniors is "Sisterhood- And How to Keep It". The cost is $110 for adults and juniors.
