Dar Al-Hijrah is pleased to announce a seminar to be delivered by the honorable guest and visiting scholar Sis. Iffat Rasheed, who visits us from Lahore, Pakistan. She will be giving 3 Saturday lectures insha Allah, starting - October 31, 2009 - "What Does It Mean to be a Muslim?"
- November 7, 2009- "How to be a Successful, Happy Wife & Mom"
- November 14, 2009 - "Culture & Customs vs. Islam"
All lectures will be in Urdu language, so it is a golden opportunity for Urdu- speaking sisters to benefit from this. Sis. Iffat speaks English as well, so she can take questions in English. Lectures are between maghrib and isha, until an hour or so after isha. |
