Have you been studying and memorizing Qur'an since last Ramadhan? Since you were a teen? Since you were little? Then take your best intentions and tajweed and participate in the Preliminary Testing for the Annual Central Virginia Quran Competition. Judging will be done by qualified judges. Imams, hufaadh and Qur'an teachers are not allowed to compete. Only finalists will be allowed to recite at the Awards Ceremony. The Ceremony will be held the following week.
