Come take part in this one-day conference sponsored by the American Muslim Studies Program at the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University. The conference is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Come listen as three panels convene to discuss "Mosque, Community and Society", "Space, Design and Function", and "Education and Empowerment". Speakers include keynote speaker Muzammil Siddiqui (Islamic Ctr. of Oranage County, CA), Sulayman Nyang and Altaf Husain (Howard Univ.), Imam Mohamed Magid (ADAMS Ctr.), Khalid Blankinship (Temple Univ.), and others. |
