| In the Observance of Domestic Violence Month, Please Come and Join Us for Muslimat Al-Nisaa's Annual Conference and Banquet.
Event: "Social Justice, Islamic Responsibility".
The purpose of this event is to educate the community regarding the issues of social justice, with an emphasis on the homeless and domestic violence. The event will also raise awareness and financial support for shelters nationwide that house homeless Muslim women, children, and victims of domestic violence.
Guest Speakers Include: Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Dr. Sherman Jackson, Dr. Jimmy Jones.
Spoken Word Artists: Nurideen Bashir, Safiyyah Abdullah, Najla R Muhammad, Ibrahim Jaaber.
Special Guests: Women affected by Domestic Violence and their stories.
