| Mafiq Foundation and Muslim Youth Musings Present: On Your Side! An Insider's Perspective Into Succeeding at EPC. Conducted by Sr. Fatimah Waseem and Br. Arif Kabir, former Al-Huda School students and first place winners of the Essay Panel Competition (EPC). This two-hour intensive workshop will be concentrating on the essentials of performing well at the EPC event. This workshop will be unique in that it is being presented by youth, and that it will have two separate teachers, thereby allowing the participants to quickly relate and feel comfortable around their respective teacher of the same gender. It will also include a module on famous Islamic stories and examples of patience so that participants are not only taught on how to write, but are also given relevant information and prompts that they can then use to complement their essays and speeches. We look forward to your child(ren)'s attendance, and pray this helps them increase in their love and knowledge of writing. Ameen.
