| ADAMS will be hosting a program on the History of Islam in Africa taught by Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick. The History of Islam in Africa is an extremely important topic, as the first interaction with Africa occurred during the time of the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam. This course will cover a range of topics related to that history, including contributions of African scholars, figures who led to the advancement of Islam in Africa, and the practice and spread of Islam in the Swahilis and Southern Africa. Friday, March 16: 7PM-10PM and Saturday, March 17: 10AM-2PM. Cost: A donation of $20 is requested to help cover program costs |
