PGCC MSA We Stand For Syria

PGCC Muslim Student Association has planned a week of activities to raise awareness of the plight faced by Syrians today. A week of: "We Stand for Syria" Beginning Monday, April 23rd, The MSA plans to host a "Wall of Healing". The wall will feature slots in which the PGCC community members may insert written comments for support of the oppressed of Syria. On Wednesday, April 25th, There will be a lecture featuring a film screening related to the current issues in Syria from 2:30 until 4:30 in Rennie Forum room located at LSC building, 1st floor. Refreshments will be served. Thursday, April 26th, There will be a bake sale featuring a number of Syrian desserts and varieties of home-made cooked food. The bake sale is scheduled to be held in the lobby of the Largo Student Center LSC building, 1st floor, from 12:00 until 3:00. Saturday, April 28, The week will be capped off with an offering of Syrian accessories for sale. 12-6 p.m., located in front of Novak Field House parking lot at the Largo campus. Syrian accessories for sale include items like, home improvements, dresses, scarf, decorations stuff, and more. All money that will be collected will be donated directly to the victims of Syria through that Non-Profit Organization, Life for Relief & Development.
