| The U.S. Attorney’s Office of Washington DC (USAODC), Masjid Muhammad Mosque, Unity Productions Foundations, and the Capitol View Library Invite you to a discussion about: “The Amazing true story of Abdul Rahman Ibrahima Sori, an African Prince enslaved in the American South. This program will include a viewing of the film and an interactive discussion led by some of the leading experts in the area. The film and discussion will shed light on the misunderstandings between mainstream Americans and Muslims which cause enormous challenges in our society. This program will help create a dialogue that will help build relationships across communities and faiths, even at a time when current events cause tension. We hope you are able to come and join in this discussion. |
