Islamic Relief: Skate for Syria

Join Islamic Relief USA and the DC-MD-VA community to Skate for Syria, a team fundraising event that aims to raise awareness & support for Syrian Humanitarian Aid. Participating is easy! Get sponsors: Ask your friends and family members to donate a certain amount for every lap you skate or donate a flat rate. Here is an example: If your sponsor pledges to donate $5 per lap and you skate 5 laps, then the total donation amount is: $25 or your sponsors can pledge a flat rate of $25 regardless of how many laps you complete. Submit your donations in 1 of 2 ways: 1. Create your unique team fundraising page online and ask your sponsors to donate directly through your page at IRUSA.ORG 2. Collect your sponsors' pledges manually and submit the total donation at: MY.IRUSA.ORG/SKATEFORSYRIA/ Spread the word. Invite your Facebook friends. We look forward to seeing you there.
