You are cordially invited to the Washington Theological Consortium presentation of the Inaugural Al-Alwani Lecture in Honor of Dr. Taha Jabir Al-Alwani. We intend to present "Washington as a Site for Muslim - Christian Encounter", and "Two Generations of Islamic Scholarship for Inter-religious Understanding". Guest speakers are: Rev. Richard J. Jones, Al-Alwani Chair in Muslim - Christian Studies at the Washington Theological Consortium, and Dr. Zainab Alwani, Adjunct Professor of Islamic Studies, Wesley Theological Seminary.
