| Muslim Social Services Agency (MSSA) invites you to participate in the Walk of Hope- Helping Baltimore's Homeless One Step at a Time. This event is a Muslim walkathon/food drive for the homeless. MSSA is a non-profit organization who is trying to help other non-profit organizations provide food to those in need, inshaAllah. The food collected will be donated to area homeless shelters, soup kitchens, food bank and food pantries, inshaAllah. Our goal is to have at least one thousand Muslims walking to help provide food to the area's homeless providers. The Governor of Maryland may attend or one of his representatives and the Mayor of Baltimore City is considering attending, inshaAllah. We ask that each walker bring 5 canned goods or 5 non-perishable food items. The donated food will go to local organizations and shelters that aid the homeless.
