In response to our front page article “Drone Summit : US Killing Machines Illegal, Immoral” in the Muslim Link’s May 11, 2012 issue, one reader writes:

“Washington Post-ABC poll statistics show that 83 percent of Americans support the Obama administration’s use of drones.”

When you have democracy surrounded with capitalism (i.e. materialistic world) you lose the human factor of compassion and caring. 

What’s shocking is how a person sitting in their little base office in Utah by simply pressing a button as if it’s a video game can bomb and kill people and go home at 5pm and then have the courage to sleep at night. These people have lost their sense of humanity. 

The truth is being revealed slowly that American soldiers are being trained/brainwashed by their masters and agents to hate Muslims: google “War on Islam” course taught at Joint Forces Staff College in Virginia.  This was on BBC news.

The drones are illegal in every sense. The U.S. does not respect the sovereignty of others nations and the criminals get away with all the killings.  The drones have been an experiment to use on some of the poorest nations and people in the world.  This is pretty shameful.  Americans should put themselves in the shoes of others and hopefully they will understand....but they can’t because they are too busy surrounded with materialism galore.

People must voice and share their views with others because if we don’t then our silence is complicit with the murders.
