Young Sisters Mountain Strong Workshop

ILIA (Islamic Leadership Institute of America) presents "Mountain Strong; Putting Patience into Practice", a one-day leadership retreat for young sisters aged 9 to 14. Based on Qur'an and Sunnah, this retreat gives your pre-teen the opportunity to

build upon her Islamic identity,
be exposed to key concepts related to patience and perseverance,
develop in sisterhood and deen
and put it all into practice!

She'll also enjoy mountain hiking, BBQ, soccer, group discussions and halaqahs, all amidst the rolling hills and forests of Rock Creek State Park. Included are breakfast,lunch and dinner, leadership booklet/handout, and certificate of attendance.

Chaperons certified in CPR and first aid by the American Red Cross, experienced in youth programs, and have conducted programs at area Masaajid for years, including other off-site programs; ratio is 1 chaperon per 5 kids
