If you are like the rest of us here at DC MIST and you can’t contain your excitement until the tournament in April, don’t worry! As a prelude to the tournament, we are proud to announce our annual Fundraising Dinner with Imam Zia. This is the chance to invest in the future of our community – our youth, and an exciting opportunity for us to Sow the Seeds of the Future. Seeds that will later, insha’Allah, grow into leaders, educators, public figures, social workers, and doctors who are devoted to their families and the community all the same. MIST strives to create an environment that fosters an Islamic awareness and identity while refining the next generation of active Muslim leaders eager to effect real Islamic change.
