Since the Mustafa Center Funeral Facility project began in 2012, more than $1.1 million has been raised with the help of the community, including $294,483 in 2017. Over $855,000 was used to purchase the land and pay for building design, site development, Fairfax County fees, taxes and fundraising expenses. We are now in the process of selecting a contractor and are reaching out to our Muslim brothers and sisters, supporters and friends to help us secure additional funding which would enable us to complete the construction of the facility.

We passionately call upon our supporters to generously contribute to this important cause.

The cost of one brick is $48 (includes construction costs). A total of 54,000 bricks are needed to build the funeral facility, which equals the total cost of construction- approximately $2.6M.

For donations of $2500 and higher, a plaque in the donors name will be placed inside the facility wall.
Every dollar that you spend on this project will be considered a continuous reward (Sadaqah Jariah) to you and your family in shaa Allah. As we all wish to live a dignified life in this world, let’s prepare for a dignified death in our final journey toward our Lord, Allah the Almighty.
