va-highschool-msas Garfield Senior High School’s Muslim Student Association and The Muslim Association of Virginia Youth Group hosted their third annual potluck on Saturday, December 1st, 2012. The potluck was hosted at Dar-Al-Noor Masjid where MSAs from all over Prince William County were invited to attend.

The MSAs represented at the event were from C.D. Hylton, Forest Park, Woodbridge, and Garfield High. The students as well as the youth at the masjid enjoyed an evening full of delicious food, a game of Islamic jeopardy, and prizes.

The event took place at the masjid where the youth endeavored to increase the involvement of the youth as well as gain Islamic knowledge through entertainment.

Following a game of Islamic trivia, a brief halaqa on the topic of the Day of Judgement was given by guest speaker Brother Usman, who is also the Imam of the Islamic Center of Fredericksburg. Over 50 youth members and leaders attended the gathering.
