ISG is collaborating with Montgomery County Police department to host a series of safety and security programs for the youth and parents. ISG youth Safety Program will conduct the following series of workshops: 1. For youth: Educate our youth about protection from violence, bullying, resisting/avoiding gangs and drugs in and around schools and in the society 2. For parents: Understand the signs and symptoms of your child/children getting in wrong things or being in trouble. Also how to provide them with the right help at the right time. 3. Improve communication skills between parents and children in order to help children to open up and reach out to their parents to get the right help on time. 4. For youth and parents to learn about social media and Internet safety. In order to create a safer environment for our children, ISG is inviting Montgomery County Police Department to have a kick off meeting on July 11th from 12:00 pm -2:00 pm. ISG has arranged a BBQ for the community to meet the Police Department over lunch to build better relationships with our community. Please come and share your thoughts and concerns about the above issues with the Montgomery County Police Department.
