"In the Guinness Book of World records, this ocean of 200,000 date palms is registered as the largest field of harvest on earth. It's considered the largest garden on the planet, and exists in Qaseem (greater Riyadh, KSA).

It belonged to Saleh al-Rajhi, until he devoted it entirely for providing the Ramadan iftar (break-fast) in the Sacred Mosques of Mecca and Madinah! Forbes Magazine charted this man as the 84th wealthiest man on the planet in 2006, and he springs from a family whose assets are second to none but the Saudi royal family itself.

However, this man's truest wealth existed within. Allah had granted him the rare gift of inner peace, being content, and having the wealth in his hand to serve him, not in his heart to torment him. He would say, "I have no desire in this world and chasing its pleasures. I only wish to live a simple life at my home with my children."

This was no surprise, for this was a man who memorized the Book of Allah by heart, and had seen the gracious interventions of Allah first hand. He would say, "I have never spent a million in Zakat (charity) without receiving two million from Allah." His multi-billion dollar endowment foundation generates hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue which he fully dedicated to various charity projects - including da'wah, education, health, and social services.

He passed in 2011, may Allah bestow mercy upon his soul, and continue to erect icons for this Ummah - reminding us and the world what the Ummah of Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alayhi wasallam) will forever produce with the revelation it carries.
